Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Raya and the Last Dragon" travels to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together in harmony long ago. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it's up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she'll learn that it'll take more than a dragon to save the world-it's going to take trust and teamwork as well. "Raya and the Last Dragon" features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, a warrior whose wit is as sharp as her blade, and Awkwafina as the magical, mythical, self-deprecating dragon named Sisu. Characters also include a street-savvy 10-year-old entrepreneur named Boun, the formidable giant Tong and a thieving toddler Noi with her band of Ongis.

Oh my god. Such a great movie.all of those cultural references were amazing. The animation was mind blowing and the music, oh the music worked so well with the scenes. Especially the fight scenes. Overall an incredible movie. Just some of the dialogue and story was a tad bit cringe, but those were made for the kids.

An original story that highlights so many wonderful aspects of story-telling throughout. I'm not sure what I love more, the coming-of-age story with a bit of the archetypical 'journey' theme or the fantastic idea of dragons and their special, unique magical abilities. Maybe it was the top notch animation or the brilliant score that did everything it needed to without ever needing to be centre-stage. Perhaps it's the lovely side characters who lend so much humour to the story.This one's a keeper.

This is a really big step for the South-Asian countries. It includes all cultures of those countries. I look forward to seeing more because I come from the Philippines. 😁😍
