Del productor Steven Spielberg, llega la aventura de acción de ciencia ficción “Ready Player One”, basada en el best seller del mismo nombre de Ernest Cline. La película se desarrolla en el año 2045 con el mundo al límite del caos y del colapso. Sin embargo, las personas encuentran la salvación en el OASIS, un expansivo universo de realidad virtual creado por el brillante y excéntrico James Halliday (Mark Rylance). Cuando Halliday muere, deja su inmensa fortuna a la primera persona que encuentre el huevo de Pascua digital que escondió en algún lugar del OASIS, iniciando un concurso que fascina a todo el mundo. Cuando un extraño y joven héroe llamado Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decide participar en el concurso, se ve lanzado a una búsqueda vertiginosa del tesoro y con la realidad distorsionada a través de un universo fantástico de misterio, descubrimiento y peligro.

I am just going to throw this out there. It may not deserve a full five stars, but it gets close. Definitely rides the nostalgia train through the whole movie and does it very well. I actually kind of loved the movie. CGI was done masterfully, acting was extraordinary, and the premise was brilliant. Bought it as soon as it hit Blu ray. 4.6/5 stars for me

As someone who hasn't read the book, i loved it. Now i cannot wait to read the book. The idea of an immersive VR is so great. I hope to live long enough to see it in my lifetime.

Amazing movie! I've lost track of how many times I've watched it. Jason, Freddy, Spawn, king Kong and on and on. Great music. References to tons of old games! I could watch this movie weekly and be just as sucked in as I was tge first time I saw it! Parzivsl, Art3mis, Aech, Daito and Shoto.....amazing!
