The movie has a different feel to it which is a case on its own for watching it. Most movies I've seen coming out recently were too similar. The acting is decent and it mixes its genres very well. My only real complaint is it feeling too condensed. It feels the movie could have gone a bit longer, but while making the movie they decided it was turning out too long. Or they ran out of time. Either way, it was a good watch.

Real Steel is a father-son movie meets Rocky meets Rock Em's Sock Em' Robots. An interesting, and entirely possible, future sport known as Robot Boxing has entirely replaced commercialized fighting because it provides the violence humans never could. While the plot itself is a bit generic, it's still a good movie to watch and the CGI is excellent and worth renting just to see.

Good movie, not great, but entertaining and worth a watch or two. Not awards worthy in either story or acting, many will enjoy the fight sequences, and laugh at the one liners. The real treat of this movie however, is the amazing effects, which are epic, as well as the fights between the bots! Overall pretty ok, slightly above average flick...
