Picks up 15 minutes from where we left off, taking us back into the quarantined apartment building where a terrifying virus has run rampant, turning the occupants into mindlessly violent, raging beasts. A heavily armed SWAT team and a mysterious government official are sent in to assess and attempt to neutralize the situation. What they find inside lies beyond the scope of medical science—a demonic nightmare of biblical proportions more terrifying than they could have possibly imagined. Ratings and reviews

[•rec]² takes place almost immediately after the first film. It continues to use the camcorder style, and just like the first film the camera is incredibly steady while everything is always in frame. This time a sort of SWAT team is sent in to investigate and find the blood of the patient zero. The twist at the end of the first film is continued here with mixed results. Overall a worthy sequel, and a must see for fans of the original.

totally dig the new age hyper aggressive zombie/virus flicks and this one is legit. more than worthy sequel here... maybe even better than the first. 👍
