An American couple (Ryan Phillippe and Rachelle Lefevre) discover all is not what it seems when they travel to the Dominican Republic to finalize the adoption of their daughter. They quickly realize that to save her, expose the truth and get back to the U.S., they must take on a violent criminal (John Cusack).
I was very disappointed with the way this movie was made. It lacked suspend and adventure. I dozed off a few times seems just to boring I wish I didn't have to pay to see it. The reviews make it look good and interested but you can't always judge a book by its cover you have to read it first in this case someone should throw the book away. It would make more of a television series then a movie!
The premise could have made for a decent movie. However the execution was terrible from the character development to the script, acting, and amateurish videography. Don't bother.
