This was absolutely terrible. There was close to no research done into the era when it came to weapons. (one scene a destroyer is shot at by one of the planes and explodes...) They have the machine guns going off like 500lb bombs. Completely ridiculous, I tried to ignore the little things because it's a movie and supposed to be fun. But they pushed the suspension of disbelief far far far beyond what is reasonable. Even for someone who is not interested in that time period it's obvious that nothing here makes sense.

Just ridiculously bad, and if you're going to make a film that's so clearly racial, make it accurate! My grandfather was a pilot and an actual hero in the war and these clowns accidentally shot down two of their own pilots, and there were no aces. Lee Archers "ace" status was based on another Tuskegee pilot claiming he shot down 5 Germans (huh???), but not one of them was ever confirmed by either side. Chuck Yeager!? Now that's an ACE!!!! Just a really hard film to watch based on lies and twisted truths.

The Germans throughout the movie we portrayed as if they came out of hell in fighter planes. German pilots during the war were known for their chivalry, unlike the any of the allies. If you really hate Germans this is the movie for you!
