The most dangerous and exciting car race in the universe is held only once every five years. The competitors are lined up at the starting block. In his vehicle, JP, the most daredevil driver on the circuit, is ready for the green light. Female driver Sonoshee, with whom he is secretly in love, is also on the starting line and she will stop at nothing to get to the winners' podium. In this race, not only is anything possible, but also anything is allowed. Directed and animated by "the best animator alive in Japan today" (Animation Magazine), Takeshi Koike (THE ANIMATRIX, DEAD LEAVES) takes you on a high-speed, futuristic ride.

This is so so so good my second favorite anime movie right behind 5 Centimeters Per Second. And trust me I watch more anime then Asians(no offense to any asains of course). This is so good never really gets slows. Racing all the time. Watched subbed though is wierd dubbed.

This anime movie is incredible -- the soundtrack, visual style and voice acting come together beautifully to bring an anime experience I haven't had since anime's golden age in the early 90's. This isn't your average bubblegum made-for-kids anime you see on TV these days, and well worth the price of admission!

Made by mad geniuses with too much money and seven years to burn, entirely hand-animated, the most gloriously, gorgeously insane space racing mafia kaiju love story ever created...Redline is proof that there is good in this world.
