The daughter of a wealthy family is left broken by spiritual forces beyond her control. While working at a night club, Linda meets Steve, an aspiring writer. Steve, who in his search for the "Meaning of Life", gets pulled into a world of drugs and spiritual darkness propagated by Katrine, the nightclub owner. Linda begins to see beyond Katrine's world, with the knowledge she receives from a total stranger. I don't think much of faith based films. But this one is pretty good. It shows how people can try to manipulate you and keep you down. It does a great job of showing the spiritual battle and how to win. It's not afraid to show real problems that people have and doesn't come off as fake.

I was supposed to be in this Movie but didnt get in However my little brother did and my mom helped make the sets by hand

Durante mas de 20 años y hasta la fecha busque películas cristianas que valieran la pena verlas, que contaran historias reales y que mostraran genuinas respuestas espirituales. Pero solo encontré partículas de verdad en ellas, con mucho del "circo de la fe".Con REFUGIO EN LA TORMENTA pude disfrutar y aprender de un film, no religioso, ni atado a doctrinas financiadas, PERO SI en cambio con abundante contenido de VERDADES biblicas para la vida real, Una historia de liberación y transformación tan impactante que no se puede dejar de ver...grandiosa!!
