When this movie came out I thought it was a wonderful movie, but after reading that so many aspects of it were false (the racial animus on the team, characters that never existed, Ray, Blue, Alan, Coach Yost being stripped of HOF status-the HOF never existed, Sunshine kissing Gary ....all made up. I became aware of what a joke the film is. Also the football scenes in the championship game are laughably bad. Two stars just for the musical score.

An amazing movie! Inspirational, motivating, and funny. Highly recommend everybody to watch this film! I had two options in my english class to write my final essay on, and without a doubt picked this one. Taught me a lot and I feel like I know these people, and the heartbreaking struggle they went through. Watch this movie and I'm certain you will feel the same way! I want a refund! There aren't any captions so I can't even watch the movie! I'm deaf so a movie without captions does me no good.
