Gave it a run as it was free despite considering otherwise due to the reviews on another platform. I would have paid for this over the monstrosity that was Passengers in which I felt robbed of my money and time. Paid reviewers/critics are a shallow farce and an embarrassment to the entertainment industry, Im slowly learning. Very good film compared to some of the big budget drivel that is all hype and no substance.

Rememory was an interesting film and I enjoyed it greatly. However, I do feel people who may like it may not consider it becuase it is labelled as sci-fi where, though it is more about human emotion and the philosopy behind who we are. In a similar vein to the Eternal Sunshine of Spotless mind, but with a more mystery plot element. It style reminds me more of European or art house theatre and it was interesting that the cast members I was more familar with have appeared in movies by other Directors I enjoy such as Hal Hartley and Krzysztof Kieślowski that also look at human emotion. I am geek at heart too, so whilst I enjoyed it, I also would have liked a bit more of an exploration of the technological aspects If you are interested in exploring the human impact of possibly technologies or enjoy introspective films, this is a film you may enjoy. If you are interested in exploing hard sci fi this is not along these lines.

You know a movie is good when you are hooked from the beginning. This, was not one of those movies. Boring doesn't even begin to describe the movie; it just fails across the border and would not recommend even if being free. It's not a sci-fi, its a drama. And a bad drama at that.
