About this movie

Remy (Jude Law) and Jake (Forest Whitaker) are best friends and The Union's most dangerous repossession men, reclaiming top-dollar organs when recipients fall behind on their payments. But after an on-the-job accident forces Remy to be outfitted with a top-of-the-line heart replacement, he finds himself in debt and on the run. Now, the hunter becomes the hunted as Jake will stop at nothing to track him down to finish the job.

This feels like sci-fi viewed through the lens of escalating consumerism and the slow decline of intelligence in America in a way; it doesn't go as far into the future as Idiocracy (and is in no way a comedy) but it wouldn't surprise me much at all to see some of these concepts coming true in the next fifteen years (like receiving organs on credit from unscrupulous companies, which then repossess them on payment lapse and the ensuing class warfare this creates).

Whoever wrote this is a sicko. This film gives a romantic glance for the morbid poaching of people. The interpersonal relationships between the main character and everybody else are so shabby that the remaining cast turns out to be mostly vapid.

Not even worth watching unless you like seeing a bad ending with people getting their guts cut out 24 / 7.
