I am a fan of the franchise but found the plot of this movie was dull. It was just a long series of fight scenes strung together with a shallow storyline. The animation was excellent and the backdrop had a lot of potential, but by the end of the movie I had to force myself to keep watching.

The CGI on this movie is simply stellar. What you see in the trailer you see the entire time. The storyline for this movie is pretty good as far as what you can do for movies based off video games. I'm ready for something a little different with Resident Evil but this is was definitely worth the $3.99

Better than the movies with the real people! They should make more of these kinds of RE films. Original characters are always the best c:
