Witness the beginning of Evil. Raccoon City, which was once a booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, is now a dying Midwestern town. This movie has mixed reviews from other viewers. But in my own opinion it was great! The combination of 3 RE games into one, lots of references and easter eggs, plus the atmospheric is as close as it gets. The characters are more like ordinary people instead of super cops / soldier unlike in the game but still tolerable. The plot's rushed but okay, special effects'; though mediocre, are surprisingly good. Overall, it's fun to watch, especially if you're a huge fan of the franchise.

The movie's great, I watched with my daughter. She's 18 and loves zombie movies alot! Why did I give 2 stars? Well the story's not really good for my daughter, she's don't like it. And she said "The movie is great, but it's very long." And the trailer is not good she said, for me I'll give it 3, because the zombies aren't really scary and not interested. I would like a season 2 for this good movie, my daughter is waiting for season 2 and hope the trailer be much more better! Thank you..!!!!

Solid start. But too rushed near the ending. I guess that's what happens when you try to squeeze two games into a single movie.
