Sobre este filme

Returning to the origins of the massively popular RESIDENT EVIL franchise, fan and filmmaker Johannes Roberts brings the games to life for a whole new generation of fans. In RESIDENT EVIL: WELCOME TO RACCOON CITY, once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.

Hot garbage, even worse than the Paul Anderson films starring Milla Jovovich. Don't waste your money and time on this neither on those tripes, stick with the video games, If you want to see a good Resident Evil film just go online and watch a compilation of the cinematic cutscenes.

It seems this movie was aiming for the middle ground; they wanted to better represent the game characters than the Milla series did, but still wanted to be B movie schlock. They more or less succeeded in doing so, but the visual effects and "set" designs were definitely a bit wonky. Given how quickly studios give up on things these days though, I doubt we'll ever see the sequel that this movie sets up. Shipping Jill & Wesker was a foolish decision though, and there's no Barry. I didn't hate it.

Didn't like it. Basically a family trying to escape a town in lockdown. No really a plot or any worth revelation. Many new questions, who is the director, where umbrella went, what they were experimenting, who was talking to soldiers, who was typing the mission results at end of movie and so on
