Meet Levi (18, black), a young man on the verge of adulthood that has been torn down by family tragedy—though he is ready to move on his family is not. Levi's catalyst is his next door neighbor, Brianna (17, white), whose scars seem more tattered than the white trim exterior of her house. Although very different in appearance, these two families share a deadly secret that for 3 years has turned these friendly neighbors into mortal enemies with their children caught up in the madness. But when Levi unexpectedly reaches out to Brianna, he realizes that the only way to begin rebuilding trust is through the only thing that speaks through pain; the healing power of music.
