Jonathan returns to San Francisco with a mission : to recreate a road trip from his past. He finds what he's looking for in a flirty young hustler and a proposition is made: He will accompany Jonathan on his trip, role playing as someone else - in return he will be paid double his rate. Retake is a moving, funny and heartbreaking film about the lengths we will go to reclaim the past.
