ROTLD 2 came out as a huge disappointment to the originals fans, and in a sense it was but if you can get away from the fact that it was a seguel, this movie has alot to offer the Zombie movie aficionado. It can be compared to a mash-up of ROTLD meets the Goonies. The targeted the movie as a comedy for jaded 13 year olds and that works in its favor. There are some nightmarish set-ups and special effects but the comedy sort of buffers the hard-core zombie fan...

Go out and buy the Blu-ray if you really want this. The DVD, and the streaming all have the new soundtrack and it is garbage. It almost makes the film unwatchable. The soundtrack of any film is what makes a movie much more than simply the visual effects. Not sure why they decided to change the soundtrack

It's a great movie. However, the new soundtrack is god awful! If you want the original soundtrack version (I do!) Then get the Shout Factory version on Blu-Ray.
