Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) stars as a small town nurse who gets brutally attacked and raped in her own home by a mysterious man (Shiloh Fernandez). Following his arrest, she starts to write to him but the letters all get returned unopened. Determined to confront him she then starts to regularly visit him in prison and seemingly befriends him, against her father's (Nick Nolte) express wishes. Unable to understand his daughter's intentions, he fears for her safety come the time her assailant is released... but has he underestimated her strength and resolve? 2015 Arrow Films

Don't waste your time and money on this one. It never actually took off,I kept waiting for the crunch,it never happened-very disappointed. Poor story line too.

Return To Sender is a chilling thriller with a strong, distinctive woman at the centre of it that the entire film is anchored with. Rosamund Pike is definitely on a hot streak after Gone Girl; She gives another textured and engaging performance in this film. Shiloh Fernandez and the legendary Nick Nolte are the great supporting players who give Pike plenty to play against on screen. I genuinely didn't see where this film was going and was happy to see it wasn't your standard predictable thriller. See it! It's a fun way to spend 90 minutes!
