The Creature (John Agar) is captured by a team of researchers and transported to a holding tank in a Florida marine park. Once imprisoned, the 'Gill Man' becomes the subject of crude and cruel experiments conducted by his supposedly superior human captors. But the tormented Creature begins to emerge as a hauntingly beautiful alien and a female researcher (Lori Nelson) forms an uneasy emotional link with him. Soon they are both driven to break free of their respective 'prisons'. Revenge of the Creature is full of surprises, not the least of which is Clint Eastwood in his first screen appearance as a technician who has trouble holding onto a laboratory mouse.

Sequel to Creature from the Black Lagoon takes the action from the Amazon to the mainland. The creature suit, especially the head, looks cheaper this time and less sophisticated. Those ping-pong eyes are the worst. The Creature lusts after a blonde now, the sultry Lori Nelson. Nowhere near as gorgeous as Julia Adams but still a worthy pursuit. The movie is quite dull and lagged down by talkie, outdated 50s marine science and a triangle romance. The action sparse and the "Seaworld" portion sucks👎

good movie I played a nice role and Clint Eastwood was a jerk to me on set since I'm the oldest there and I'm into Frankenstein books but good days
