Very good alien invasion movie. Action and plotting are solid, special effects are good, Aliens are overwhelming, has a good catch in it, and just living to the fight the next day is all that matters, that or making dying count for something. Did what all good movies like this should do, leaves you wanting more, wanting to know more about what is going on and how its all going to play out.

I really enjoyed Revolt. It's a classic story of survival in the time of an invasion of earth. The characters and story are compelling. And it's a lot more enjoyable than a movie like District 9, which I super disliked. Revolt is a lot more simple and straight forward. It knows it's strengths and just sticks to the story. Without trying to do too much. And be to fancy in it's storytelling. Simple and effective makes for a nice Friday night movie at home. I would love to see a sequel one day. Lot's of fun. Even warrents a repeat viewing in my book. Thanks for reading my reaview, I hope you enjoy the film as much as I did :)
