تقرر لاعبة الجيتار ريكي التي وهبت معظم حياتها لموسيقى الروك والنجومية أن تعود إلى منزلها لتعويض عائلتها عن فترة غيابها، وعلى رأسهم ابنتها التي انفصلت عن حبيبها مؤخرًا، لكن جميع أفراد العائلة لا يشعرون بالمودة نحوها، لأنها تركتهم وتركت ابنتها لتكون نجمة روك، فتحاول إنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه.

When I saw the previews for this movie I thought to myself why would Meryl make this movie (of course it was probably to help her daughters career). After watching it I am again reminded to dont question her choice in movies because unlike deniro, Pacino and a string of other A-list oldies, you know going in that the film is going to be interesting, orginal and actually hold my attention. Meryl is a true Actor of films. She does medieval times as good as 80's hair bands.

Shocking that a Grade A actress like Streep would choose such a slow and predictable movie. I wanted to love it, but that never happened. Plus her whiney brat grown kids (in this movie) ALL needed an @ss whoopin'. Not worth anything higher than a 1$ rental.

Wish I could've put 3.5. I liked the movie, interesting story and I LOVE Streep as much as the next person. I really wanted to watch this movie because of the type of character she was playing. She was amazing as always. I feel like this movie was more of a fun "gig" for her and her family to get into. All in all, I enjoyed it, but it's not one of those movies you watch more than once.
