For the past two years, high school security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) has been trying to show decorated detective James (Ice Cube) that he's more than just a video game junkie who's unworthy of James' sister. When Ben finally gets accepted into the police academy, James invites him on a ride-along designed to scare the hell out him and ultimately demonstrate if Ben has what it takes to take care of his sister. But when the wild night leads them to the most notorious criminal in the city, James will find that his new partner's rapid-fire mouth is just as dangerous as the bullets speeding at it. Found it a good easy to watch film. Predictable story line and does have some really good moments, even if they are a little too far apart. I wouldn't make time to watch the film but if you have some time to kill I don't think you'd be too disappointed.

Neither Keving nor Ice could save this film, it's worth a watch if you want a cheap laugh while passing some time on.

this movie did not live up to my expectations at all.i thought it would have been a bit funnier and have a better storyline. if you like action movies this might be the one for you....just dont get your hopes up!!
