For the past two years, high school security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) has been trying to show decorated detective James (Ice Cube) that he's more than just a video game junkie who's unworthy of James' sister. When Ben finally gets accepted into the police academy, James invites him on a ride-along designed to scare the hell out him and ultimately demonstrate if Ben has what it takes to take care of his sister. But when the wild night leads them to the most notorious criminal in the city, James will find that his new partner's rapid-fire mouth is just as dangerous as the bullets speeding at it. I neally wet my self at times . Ben want to be a cop and james is a cop ben wants to marry his sister so james say if u can prove to me that ur werthy of my sister u can marry her but if not .... he ends up cracking the case that james was at for years ... i approve this movie its brillant...♥♡♥

I would say Kevin Hart is my absolute favourite comedian ever! There's never been I time I haven't watched his stuff and not laughed. I'm always guaranteed to laugh to the point of streaming tears! He's a legend! I love Cube too, he's perfect for the serious role. Can't wait for Ride Along 2!!

this movie did not live up to my expectations at all.i thought it would have been a bit funnier and have a better storyline. if you like action movies this might be the one for you....just dont get your hopes up!!
