RIO is an animated feature from the makers of the Ice Age films. Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rain forest of Brazil, this comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there's another -- and that she's a she -- he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. But it's far from love at first sight between the domesticated and flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage, and being open to life's many wonders. RIO brings together a menagerie of vivid characters, a heart-warming story, colorful backdrops, energizing Latin and contemporary music, and family-friendly song and dance.

I HATE Jesse Eisenberg, especially his role in Batman v Superman. The beginning of Rio was okay but that's about it. Only good things about this movie was the slightly original story, Anne Hathaway, and George Lopez. Sorry to Blue Sky, but to everybody else, save your money and your time.

Ordered sd but was not aware sd meant blurry for google play, good movie, only thing I didnt get was why blue fell off high places so many times and didnt even try to fly and save himself till the end where the girl bird kissed him and he was like whooooa ohh ueah and flew LOL

This review is not provided on the movie itself but on the google play version of the film. Google states this move is in HD. What they do not tell you is that HD here is limited to 480. Not 720, not 1080. 480! This is a very poor format for digital delivery and will display poorly on any modern tv of a larger size. Avoid this version at all costs unless you have bandwidth issues.
