This is not a polished, easy to watch movie. It's like taking a stroll through different bairros of Rio and sharing intimate moments in the lives of the people you normally walk past. Thought-provoking, from the mundane to the sublime. Beautifully filmed, well acted. / The scene with the sand sculptor made me laugh; The scene with the boxer and his wife made me want to cry, and reexamine my preconceptions. All scenes surprise in one way or another.
