As a reviewer of all things bad, I find dl moody’s review to be of questionable origins. Maybe dl moody is a questionable person with ties to the studio responsible for such unremarkable nonsense. Imagine if you will, a world where quality of content reigns supreme over sheer volume. A world where Cool Hand Luke, thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Every Which Way But Loose and docu-dramas about The MELVINS and NOMEANSNO exist! Stop watching trash. Grow your hair long, leave home and get arrested for something.

This is the top shopping result on google for "Lord of the Rings". Is my search history so scorchingly stupid that I would be accused of this being relevant to my interests?

Ignore the cherry picked marketing. Well, maybe not ignore, but take it with a heaping grain of salt. This is a great story about high school friends coming together to overcome odds, and embrace their destiny in a journey to right a wrong, with many LotR homages and occasional fantasy elements (which were all plucked for the trailer). This here is good family fun independent film style.
