Guided by Peruvian biologist Enrique Ortiz, war journalists Ron Haviv and Donovan Webster bear witness to the apocalyptic destruction in pursuit of illegally mined gold with consequences on a global scale. Fast forward four years to a massive intervention by the Peruvian government.
