Whoever says the acting is "bad", needs to say by WHO. Because I know damn well that one of the best acress' ever is in that movie is phenominal with awards and is in the 20 richest celebs so dont say ALL acting is bad. If u really think that from everyone, then maybe that was how they were SUPPOSED to act as the one can do anything and takes direction well.

I rated this movie a 2 star because it's got some robots. As a movie, it was pretty terrible. The story is lame. Acting is lame. Effects are lame. Why Ben Kingsley agreed to be in this movie is the mystery. He must have some severe gambling debts or an ex wife breathing down his neck. I couldn't sit through the entire thing and turned it off after about 30 minutes. That was 30 minutes of my life I won't ever get back. Do yourself a favor and don't bother. Not worth the trouble to watch. I suggest just skipping this one.

The acting is a bit, er, well bad. It's kinda sucky. BUT, the story was intriguing. The idea that humans wouldn't be able to save themselves from alien enslavement is the more realistic. And the kid frying his tracking implant and controlling the robots is, admit it, cool. C'mon guys, it's got giant robots, and a sort-of-superhero. It's irreverent fun, just go with it.
