I am a huge sci-fi fan; however, Star Wars lets me down every time. If the plot is not entirely predictable, then the characters have no depth and are poorly developed throughout the movie. Rogue One is another perfect example of the Star Wars saga, where a "sci-fi" film is relying too much on special effects to compensate for the lack of character and plot depth. You literally do not need any form of intellect to watch this movie.

Costs more to me for Google to stream this movie than to see it in a bricks and mortar huge screen 3D theatre that pays rent, hires local people, supports local restaurants and provides a night out. What a rip off. Get a grip google. Learn the lessons that Adobe learned, which is, there is a line where people regard pirating movies to be more hassle/risk than paying for it. You are far from that line.

A part from the lack of force trick and light sabre duel, it is truly a star wars movie. It is set between the prequel and the originals, explaining the often criticised flaw of the death star - why would its weakness so readily accessible to its enemy. The movie expands into a world that is at war. Members of different fractions are sacrificing their lives for what they believe in. You will see some familiar faces here, but also seeing a group of people, never mentioned before, dying for a cause they hope it is worthwhile.
