From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars stand-alone films – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an epic adventure. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

It is a good movie that shows off a lot of good special effects.But I wished that there could be backstory that will help newcomers get into Star Wars saga.A newcomer to Star Wars will not be able to understand what is going on. Lovable characters like K2 (the Droid) brings some dark humor to the movie. Thumbs down because there was no English / Chinese Simplified subtitles at the time of this review was written.

It's good. But somehow the cg artist's ego are too obvious. Makes the film sends mixed signals to be humble or just showing off special effects flair ala michael bay. Good movie nonetheless. Just don't get your hopes up too much n just enjoy your popcorn.

bamboozling, you can skip this one, not important. we prefer the story of older Jedi but they will never make it.
