It's the summer of '78 and if you're looking for good times there is just one place to go: the local roller disco, where the music is hot, the girls are hotter, and the entire atmosphere is dynamite. It is here, under the swirling colored lights and the spinning disco ball that thousands will experience lessons in friendship and love...and sometimes life teaches that you have to really get down in order to get back up on your feet. It all begins with Xavier Smith (Bow Wow), also known as X, a young roller wiz who, along with his crew, once ruled supreme at their South Side of Chicago rink, the Palisades Gardens. But when the doors of their favorite hangout close, it marks the end of an era and the beginning of another that sees the boys venturing into completely foreign territory: the North Side's swanky Sweetwater Roller Rink, with its sleek, well-to-do roller-boys and gorgeous girls in short-shorts.

ROLL BOUNCE HIT THEATERS IN THE YEAR 2005 , BOW WOW WAS STILL A CHILD WHEN HE MADE THIS MOVIE , BOW WOW , BRANDON T JACKSON , KHLEO THOMAS , NICK CANNON & MEGAN GOOD WERE EXCELLENT IN THIS MOVIE, MIKE EPPS AND CHARLIE MURPHY WERE FUNNY TOO , THE LITTLE GIRL WHO PLAYED BOW WOW'S SISTER WAD CUTE & ADORABLE. I REALLY LIKE THE SCENE WHEN BOW WOW TELLS HIS SISTER THAT HER MOM WAS JUST LIKE HER, ROLL BOUNCE IS TRULY ONE OF A KIND & DESERVES NOTHING LESS THAN 5 STARS FROM ME , MY CUZIN IS IN THIS MOVIE TOO,

This movie is so cool, but I'm not a movie spoiler so I won't tell what happened. You can figure it out by yourself. Just watch this movie.

This movie takes me back to my youth a great African American movie almost like high school days includes puppy love romance a boy growing up to be a young man, this movie never gets old and in my opinion will stand the test of time.
