À propos de ce film

Roman Holiday was nominated for ten Academy Awards®, and Audrey Hepburn captured an Oscar® for her portrayal of a modern-day princess rebelling against her royal obligations who explores Rome on her own. She meets Gregory Peck, an American newspaperman who, seeking an exclusive story, pretends ignorance of her true identity. But his plan falters as they fall in love. Eddie Albert contributes to the fun as Peck's carefree cameraman pal. Stylishly directed by William Wyler, this romantic comedy ranks as one of the most enjoyable films of all Times.

(B&W film) Spending 24 hours with a stressed out runaway princess, a down-on-his-luck journalist, and a womanizing photographer has never been more fun. Audrey Hepburn is equal parts charming, sophisticated, and relatable while Gregory Peck shares the screen with his great comedic role as a swindler with a heart of gold. The growing relationship between them feels natural and by the end you're yearning for the same resolution that the characters want. Highly recommended.

Audrey Hepburn has a kind of magnetic stage presence and persona that engage her audience most remarkably; in addition to capturing the dignity of royalty, she also manages to capture the freedom from obligation that a Roman holiday entails while engaging in a fun-loving relationship with Gregory Peck. Her combination of charm, beauty and acting ability are second to none.

I might be the only girl on the planet that's not in love with Audrey Hepburn but she is still a great actress and she played this part beautifully. This movie is classic.
