Starring John Barrymore ("Grand Hotel"), Oscar-nominee Leslie Howard ("Gone with the Wind"), Oscar-winner Norma Shearer ("The Divorcee") and Oscar-nominee Basil Rathbone ("Sherlock Holmes" series). This lavish production received four Oscar-nominations, including Best Picture. Shearer and co-star Rathbone each earned nominations. Directed by Academy Award-winner George Cukor ("My Fair Lady").

I love this film because I adore Shakespeare and his play ROMEO AND JULIET!! Shakespeare is the most difficult form of acting that can be performed, and Norma Shearer and Leslie Howard are perfect in their portrayal!! I never tire of it .
