20th Century Studios and Locksmith Animation's RON'S GONE WRONG is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler, and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally connected device, which is supposed to be his "best friend out of the box." Ron's hilarious malfunctions - set against the backdrop of the social media age - launch Barney and Ron into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful messiness of true friendship. IDK. This film feels more like tech fear propaganda with very little substance. Touching on issues about data collection/abuse of tech/big companies (Disney made this film BTW), how we can feel alone even when connected via social media, the dark side of going viral/fame and how it shapes our identities because of it. Outside of that, it's basically an isolated kid trying to connect to anyone/anything and learning that friendship is a two-way street (plus independence good, I guess)?

Someone said this feels like tech fear propaganda, which I agree with. However, my problem with the film is that it was horribly written & just overall lazy. Another kid with a bestfriend robot who he thinks he lost just to see them reunite. How cliche. Big Hero 6 already did that years ago. The jokes were horrible, I would feel insulted if I were a kid watching. You expect me to laugh at the granny pulling all the stuff out her bag? The ending was predictable & i've run out of characters. Awful

Realmente me gusta, no solo para niños, sino definitivamente divertido de ver. Se trata más de lo que hacemos con la tecnología y cómo la conseguimos para sentirnos parte del mundo. Big Hero Six tiene más que ver con la curación, esto tiene más que ver con el rechazo, así que no creo que se puedan comparar en absoluto.
