Maria and Ricky are urgently in need of a roommate. After a frustrating series of interviews, they meet the perfect candidate – clean-cut, polite, and quiet, Dean. But when Dean starts behaving oddly, they discover his true identity – a violent escaped mental patient. When the bodies start piling up, Maria and Ricky battle Dean's many faces of rage in a fight to survive.
