After losing a high-stakes card game, Mike (Damon) gives up gambling for law school and a fresh start with his girlfriend (Gretchen Mol -- CRADLE WILL ROCK). But then his best buddy (Norton) gets out of prison and in over his head with a ruthless card shark (John Malkovich -- BEING JOHN MALKOVICH). From there, Mike's strong sense of loyalty --- and the lure of the game --- draw him back to the tables in a game he cannot afford to lose! Also starring John Turturro (O BROTHER, WHERE ARE THOU?) and Oscar(R) winner Martin Landau (ED WOOD, Best Supporting Actor, 1994).

Made me sick to like movies again. The world lifts as junkies rule the streets,... Without enough propaganda the streets would be clean. No good people as for backwards clientele huge gross Enterprise appreciates Edward Norton. As well as all actors doing a great job for anyone whoes seen a movie. It's not always about being perfect.😆

If your a serious poker player like me u need to see rounders. John malkvoich was great as the russian. They should have done a part two. To see what happen in vegas when he get their great writing.

Still one of my all time favs. Just stinks that poker has become what it is now. Not even fun to go to a table now. But still, love this movie!
