Renee Morgan (Noomi Rapace), a single mom who lives with her son in a quiet suburban home, is violently kidnapped while running her daily errands one day. In an anonymous laboratory, she is tied up and questioned about her medical history, including her great fear of spiders. As her captors explain that she carries a genetic abnormality that allows her to RUPTURE, exposing her own alien nature, she is subjected to full immersion of her deepest fear to transform into her true self.
