About this movie

Tumblin' tumbleweeds! The Wild West goes wacko when the Greatest Fast-Drawin', Fancy-Dressin,' Silver-Spurred, Geetar Playin', Singing Cowboy movie matinee idol Rex O'Herlihan hits the saddle in Rustlers' Rhapsody, a cockeyed, affectionate send-up of the '40s B-movie Western.

A true sleeper gem. A hilarious spoof on The old spaghetti westerns of the 70s. The cast is surprisingly studded. And it's one of few comedy rolls I can recall seeing Tom Berenger in. Too bad, too. He's very funny in this hilarious little film. And holds his own quite well alongside several seasoned comic actors. Such as Andy Griffith as a barely closeted evil cattle baron! 25 yrs later it still makes me laugh as much as it did the first time I saw it back in 1985.

Absolute dumbest movie I've ever seen, right along with dances with wolves and open range. Whoever made this movie should be beat with a shovel

Classic movie. Funny with a very interesting role for Andy Griffith. Very family friendly.
