In the throes of World War II, Captain Maude Garrett (Chloë Grace Moretz, Kick-Ass) joins the all-male crew of a B-17 bomber with a top-secret package. Caught off guard by the presence of a woman on a military flight, the crew tests Maude's every move. Just as her quick wit is winning them over, strange happenings and holes in her backstory incite paranoia surrounding her true mission. But this crew has more to fear... lurking in the shadows, something sinister is tearing at the heart of the plane. Trapped between an oncoming air ambush and an evil lurking within, Maude must push beyond her limits to save the hapless crew and protect her mysterious cargo.

I don't usually take the time to complain but this time it's worth it. I would give this a -50 if they had that option. Funny that when I look for the negative reviews there aren't any.. obviously paying to remove them.. the most awful, boring, terribly laid out movie I have ever seen, turned it off after 40 minutes I'll never get those minutes back.. what a disgrace.

Wasn't expecting this storyline. Started in Auckland to Samoa. Awesome job from New Zealand production team. It had a "feel of 80s big trouble in little china" but in the air. I Hope we make more twisted action plots in the future.

Very occasionally I find myself in the mood for a schlocky B-Grade action movie. A Shadow in the Cloud ticks all these boxes and adds a few more boxes just for fun, those being: creature feature & Thriller. You’ll see two sorts of reviews for this movie out there, those are “this movie is ridiculous! 10/10” and “this movie is ridiculous 0/10!” If you are willing to have a good time and indulge a classic power fantasy check this movie out. If you suck feel free to watch yourself in a mirror growing old, it’s more gritty and realistic.
