"Safeguard" was a solid thriller with a compelling premise. The plot kept me guessing until the end, and the action sequences were well-executed. While some of the characters felt a bit underdeveloped, the overall performance was strong. If you're a fan of suspenseful thrillers, I recommend giving this one a watch

Safeguard was a bit disappointing. The pacing was slow, and the plot was overly complicated. While the concept was interesting, the execution fell flat. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a fast-paced thriller.

In a particularly intense subplot, a Japanese restaurant in Harlem becomes the target of Mafia extortion. The restaurant's owner, a father deeply committed to his family and his business, finds himself facing an impossible choice: surrender to the demands of the Mafia or risk everything to protect his loved ones and the restaurant that represents their livelihood.
