For the last 40 years acclaimed photographer Sebastião Salgado has travelled the world, tracing the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed and documented many of the major events of our times, taking in wars, famine, genocide and exodus. But now he is embarking on a new journey: to discover pristine territories, grandiose landscapes and wild nature as part of a huge photographic tribute to the planet's beauty. An absolutely superb demonstration of the filmmaker's craft combined with and unforgettable story of self discovery. Brilliantly layered presentation of the subject's still photography interwoven with a narrative that is teased out simply perfectly. Could not recommend this film enough!

It's a beautiful documentary in itself and a very touching portrait of Sebastiao Salgado and his deep care about the human condition. It evokes a deep prayer in me to be a better human being myself and take more care of our Home.
