Oh come on. How many times should one make the same concept shine? There are many San Andreas fault earthquaky movies out there, and all of them have the same over the top effects, stupid story line and highly expected conclusion... One of Dwayne Johnson's lesser movies. Avoid if you can.

The only good thing of this movie is it's visual effects but nowadays almost every Hollywood action film has such effects. The story is totally impractical and lame. The worst movie of it's kind. 2012, The day after tomorrow are far better movies than this one. Only children under 8 years old may like this movie.

Bought this movie when Google was giving 75% off on movie rentals. The plot and screenplay with the gfx are good. The movie felt like a compilation of different scenes. Had a lot more expectations. One time, definitely. 3.5/5
