John Cusack stars in this critically acclaimed romantic comedy as Lloyd, an optimistic underachiever, who falls for Diane, a beautiful valedictorian (Ione Skye). The great news is that Diane feels the same way about Lloyd. The bad news is that her possessive, grumpy dad (John Mahoney) disapproves. It may take more than the power of love for these two unlikely sweethearts to make it as a couple!

One of my new favorite movies. It's been on my watch list for a while and I'm so glad i finally got around to watching it. It tells a beautiful love story that is deeper and more rich than most romance in movies. A must watch for anybody, especially 80s movie fans! Excellent writing with lots of quotable lines for any romantic.

As always, great music track, great story & wonderful acting from the entire cast. More quotable lines than any other movie. Enjoy. Nuff Said
