SAY YOU WILL is told through the eyes of Sam Nimitz, a conservatory-bound musician spending his final summer at home caring for his reclusive mother in the wake of his father's suicide. Torn between his caregiving duties and chasing his dream of becoming a composer like his father before him, Sam finds unlikely solace in his troubled childhood crush, Ellie Vaughn. With Ellie's help, Sam devises a plan to reconnect his mother with the man she almost married before his father. This earnest attempt to help his mother move on serves as a poignant and uplifting exploration of grief, growing up, and the kind of love that can only be carved from loss in this coming of age drama from writer / director Nick Naveda.
