In the tradition of such genre parodies as AIRPLANE!, THE NAKED GUN, and SPACEBALLS, Keenen Ivory Wayans takes on the teen horror flick with SCARY MOVIE, a campy, riotous send-up of everything from the SCREAM and HALLOWEEN franchises to I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, CARRIE, and THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. In a small town, a copycat is reenacting the SCREAM murders, and local reporter Gail Hailstorm will do just about anything to get the story. The six high school students who ran over a man on a sharp curve the year before think the killer is out for revenge, but sweet and innocent Cindy Campbell believes that the madman might just lurk a lot closer to home. Funny how? Tonnes of sex gags that are so impotent, viagra can't help it. Put together like a bunch of offensive Jake and Logan Paul videos that it's almost devoid of humour and unwatchable. The gags only make you gag as they are FAR below the creativity of why did the chicken cross the road, and still screws up the punchline. Sorry but the Passion Of The Christ is funnier.

It's not all that great. It's very similar to Family Guy in that it just throws offensive gag after offensive gag at you and only a handful of them are acctually funny. The entire Charrcter of Doffy is just pointless and offensive (Althoght it does pay off with a pretty great homage to The Usual Suspects). It's just needlessly offensive and unfunny
