It's 1968 in America. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time-stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah's terrifying home.

This is the slowest moving, fast-paced movie I've ever come across. A lot of stuff happens, without much happening. I'll now be going back to read the book to see just how badly the movie compares.

Pretty good, hope there is a sequel. Some lose details to tie up :D

Loved it. Del Toro never ceases to amaze me. Truly admire his work.
