I love Scooby-Doo. I loved the original cartoon when I used to watch reruns, I loved the animated movies, though I hated the live action movies. This was at least better than those...but it's not that hard to be better than garbage.I enjoyed *some* of the reboots and spin-offs. But this...I was so disappointed. A predictable plot that hits every single Scooby-Doo cliche that's been built up, *except* for a good story. And that's the part I can't forgive, the story in this one was so boring. Only the barest bit of lip-service to the original Zombie island, flashbacks and a cameo of a certain trinket. The least important part of the original's story gets solved, but the most interesting part, the Cat God's Curse, doesn't even get any deeper exploration. All we get is a teaser that *maybe*, just *maybe*, there is still one more immortal cat person running around Moonscar island (And yes, it's Moonscar, it's obvious to anyone who has watched the original). This has to be the most boring animated Scooby movie I've ever seen, and it didn't have to be like this, they could have done so much, there was still so much potential left to explore from the plot elements of the original, we didn't have to use such a contrived plot point as a "rigged vacation" to get them back to the island. if you are a fan of the original, please don't watch this, you'll only be disappointed by how boring this film is, and how little care it shows for the movie that this is supposed to be a "sequel" to. Hopefully WB will realize they made a mistake, and make a REAL sequel. Scooby Doo and the Cat God's Curse or something like that. Anything would be better than this trash. The only thing I can say is that the environments look alright, the voice acting was decent, and the character models look good, especially Velma's. All the love for the cute nerdy girls.

WB completely ruined my childhood memories of this movie. What was once a great story is now a cheap, predictable, second-rate version of the original. They tainted it with the cheesy trend that they have ran with for the past half decade or so. Just stop. Let the wonderful legacy that is Scooby Doo die already. Or hire some new writers who know how to entertain people.

Two words to describe this film: Just Sad. The original Zombie Island was fantastic, with a great story plot, and had an absolutely amazing soundtrack to go along with it. BUT THIS "Return to Zombie Island" WAS BY FAR JUST PLAIN SAD AND INSULTING TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST FILM. Don't waste you many y'all.
