Scooby-Doo and Shaggy’s favorite holiday is upon us! With fake monsters and candy galore – Halloween is heaven for these hungry foodies going door-to-door. But, this year, their sweet holiday turns sour when the neighborhood pumpkin patch is infected by toxic ooze, creating high-flying jack-o-lanterns, and a king-sized pumpkin leader squashing everything in its path. It’s up to Scooby-Doo and the gang as they team up with their pals, Bill Nye The Science Guy and Elvira Mistress of the Dark, to solve this mystery of gigantic proportions and save Crystal Cove!

Oof. Love this particular series of Scooby movies and the voice talent, but this movie was a mess. I'd sum it up by saying it was trying way too hard with the "how do you do fellow kids"-type slang and awkward appearances of Elvira and Bill Nye. It crammed too many random ideas together and tried to form a story around them. Skip this one and watch Witch's Ghost if you want a Halloween/Fall Scooby-doo movie.

This has to be the second WORSE move so far that i have seen of the new Scooby Doo. Why is Fred becoming more more stupid and slow is beyond me to Frank, but he agree to this movie so it is what it is. Daphne some how becoming a leader is fine but belittling Fred to "show " she's a " independent woman" is just stupid.

This would be a 5 star if they were not trying to make Scooby-Doo politically correct. One thing Velma was not a science nut she loved a good mystery. In Zombie Island she owned a mystery bookstore.
