Vinte e cinco anos após uma vaga de assassínios brutais abalarem a pacata cidade de Woodsboro, um novo assassino aterrorizador ressuscita a máscara de Ghostface. À medida que as mortes vão aumentando, os novos alvos de Woodsboro têm de procurar o auxílio dos sobreviventes dos ataques iniciais de Ghostface. Agora, só Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), o antigo xerife Dewey Riley (David Arquette) e a repórter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) podem encontrar uma forma de parar o assassino quando todos são suspeitos.

This was one of the worst movies ive seen in a while. Cant believe rating are so high, clearly these people were high watching it. Ive watched the old Scream movies, but basing a review due to nostalgia is nonsense. We blame Hollywood for not being original but give them reason to make more 💩

I was very excited for this and was gagging for some more Scream after the TV show was cancelled. This was, unfortunately, very average indeed. It was nice to see some of the old cast but the movie just felt like, and pardon the pun, it had all been done to death enough already. I would have preferred a reboot, with new actors playing old characters and with a different storyline. This was simply prolonging the death of Scream. It was very predictable and tame compared to earlier entries.

This film is extremely good. I don't say that lightly either. I was let down by Scream 3 and 4. But this film in its writing and direction is up there between the most excellent Scream 1 and 2.
