Bir dizi vahşi cinayetin, kendi hâlindeki Woodsboro kasabasını sarsmasının üzerinden 25 yıl geçmiştir ve korku salan yeni bir katil Hayalet Surat maskesiyle hortlamıştır. Kurban sayısı arttıkça, katilin hedefindeki Woodsboro sakinleri, Hayalet Surat'ın ilk cinayetlerinden sağ kurtulanların yardımına başvurmak zorundadır. Herkesin şüpheli olduğu bir ortamda katili önlemenin bir yolunu yalnızca Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), eski Şerif Dewey Riley (David Arquette) ve muhabir Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) bulabilir.

I was very excited for this and was gagging for some more Scream after the TV show was cancelled. This was, unfortunately, very average indeed. It was nice to see some of the old cast but the movie just felt like, and pardon the pun, it had all been done to death enough already. I would have preferred a reboot, with new actors playing old characters and with a different storyline. This was simply prolonging the death of Scream. It was very predictable and tame compared to earlier entries.

Requel? This Scream isn't the original. I hope they are done now, it has run its course, personally they should have finished after the third (AT a push). While I was entertained for a couple hours, it was lacking. It follows the same as previous ones, open with the kill scene, 2 killers in ghostface, no real twists, many fake outs, why? You can guess easily who the killers are. However, it was nice for them to dedicate it to the late and great Wes Craven.

This was one of the worst movies ive seen in a while. Cant believe rating are so high, clearly these people were high watching it. Ive watched the old Scream movies, but basing a review due to nostalgia is nonsense. We blame Hollywood for not being original but give them reason to make more 💩
